Summer String Orchestra Camp – Pizzicato & Popcorn: Hollywood Hits 



APPLICATION METHOD

  1. Apply online: Please fill in the E-application form below. You can upload the audition video / recording via YouTube. The audition video / recording must contain 2 movements / pieces of contrasting styles for a total of 7 – 10 minutes. Applicant can also provide additional audition video / recording to apply for a solo role in a concerto performance.
  2. Apply by post: Please upload the audition video / recording via YouTube OR send a CD-ROM or DVD-ROM with an audition video / recording saved in MP4, WMV or WAV format to the Foundation by post together with the application form. The audition video / recording must contain 2 movements / pieces of contrasting styles for a total of 7 – 10 minutes. Applicant can also provide additional audition video / recording to apply for a solo role in a concerto performance.
  3. The audition result will be announced on 7 / 7 / 2016. The applicant, once admitted to the course, will be required to pay a course fee of $3,800 within 7 days of the announcement. The Foundation reserves the right to make any necessary alternation about the course without prior consultation. The Foundation also reserves the right to cancel the course if there is insufficient number of enrolments. All affected participants will be given notice of any such change.
  4. No make-up class and refund will be made for cancellation due to bad weather.

Bursary

One of the key objectives of the Haw Par Music Foundation is to create social and community benefits. An example of initiatives to achieve this is our commitment to make bursaries available to the needy.

Prospective student can indicate their interested in applying for our bursary scheme by selecting the appropriate declaration in the application form. Each bursary place application will need to be supported by a recommendation form completed by the student’s teacher. A template for this can be downloaded here and the completed form must be sent to the following address by post by the student’s teacher:
